Avocado oil on skin

You may use avocado oil in many forms in your skincare routine. You can massage the avocado oil on skin of yours, apply it like a mask on your face, or add it with your in-shower lotion.  It has been used regularly or a couple of days a month without harmful effects. Not clear where to get started? Consider using avocado oil as follows:

Avocado oil on skin various ways

DIY homemade facemask

Slice a ripe avocado(1) and add a few drops of avocado oil. To smoothen it uniformly, use a fork or spoon. Apply the paste on the face and allow 10 to 15 minutes to be set. Based on your skin type, you should rinse off your avocado mask with warm water or facial cleanser.

For chapped skin as a lotion

After you take a shower, massage the skin with lots of avocado oil. You may use avocado oil by itself or add a couple of drops to something like a regular body lotion.

Facial oil to moisturize

Load 2/3 with avocado oil in a 1-ounce jar. Select and top up the last third of the glass with other nurturing oil like tamanu or emu. Add to your preferred essential oil from three to four drops, such as lavender or rose. Twist the cap and shake it.

Offer your hand a little of the homemade oil, dab your fingers and add it to your face. The oil may be used as a hand daily moisturizer as well. If you hold the bottle away from the sun, the oil will last up to a year.

Homemade anti-aging cream

In a glass jar, blend 1/4 of a cup of avocado oil with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, 2 tablespoons of beeswax, 1/2 teaspoon of vitamin E oil, and 1 tablespoon of shea butter. Put the uncovered jar, in a bowl loaded with about four inches of water. Make it to a simmer. Stir the elements as they melt in the jar. Once melted, pour the cream into a tinier jar and allow it to rest till the mix thickens. Place the lid on the jar and put and store the cream in a cool area.
